💡 It's Time to Get Switched On About Switching Off!
Today marks the start of Switch Off Fortnight 2025, a national campaign encouraging academies to save energy by turning off lights and appliances when they’re not in use.
At Alpha Academies Trust, we’re fully behind this — because small acts (like flicking a switch!) can make a big difference to both our energy bills and the planet. On average, academies that commit to switching off can save around 10% of their energy use — proof that every light left off counts!

We're excited to remind all our pupils and families about a fantastic competition we're running as part of SEND Inclusion Week 2025, in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council!
We’re inviting children and young people across the city (including our school!) to submit a photo of a place they feel is inclusive in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a brilliant chance to celebrate what makes our community welcoming!
Your pupils can enter by sending a photo of:
⭐A real location they've visited.
⭐A photograph of a drawing, model, or other creative piece they've made to represent an inclusive space.
How to Enter & Key Forms
Please find the necessary documents attached to this post:
⭐A poster with all the competition details and submission instructions.
⭐A consent form that must accompany every entry.
Parents/Carers: You can easily send in a photograph of the completed consent form with your child's entry!
