We are proud to share The Big Future, a brilliant new survey launched by the Children’s Commissioner for England! 🗳️✨
With hundreds of thousands of young people now eligible to vote in the next general election—the biggest change to the franchise in half a century—it has never been more important for our youth to be heard. Yet, sadly, only 1 in 5 children feel that politicians actually listen to them. Let’s help change that! 🙌
The Children’s Commissioner wants to hear from absolutely every child and young person aged 0–18 (parents/carers can help the younger ones!). This is their chance to speak up about:
👉 The changes they want to see in their communities 🏙️
👉 Their biggest concerns 💭
👉 Their hopes for the future and what a great childhood looks like today 🌟

🎵 What a musical and momentous day at Sneyd Academy! 🎶
We always say we love learning, but today was on another level! 🌟
🎶 Year 4 kicked off their brand-new recorder lessons with Mr Anderson today, and they did an absolutely amazing job. The school was filled with the sound of music, which only got better when we all joined together for a brilliantly fun Singing Together session. 🎤✨
🏛️ A Very Special Visit…
Today, we were also incredibly proud to welcome Arts Council England to our academy! They popped in to see firsthand the wonderful work our talented students are doing.
🏆 As the primary lead academy representing Stoke-on-Trent for music within the West Midlands Music Hub, it was an absolute honour to showcase our passion for the arts to the Arts Council team.
