The Anti-Bullying Quality Mark is a national scheme which endorses how good schools are at preventing bullying. It challenges them to establish effective, sustainable anti-bullying policies and strategies.
Sneyd Academy achieved the ABQM-UK Silver Award for 2026-27 because staff, students, parents and carers demonstrated that effective anti- bullying practices have been embedded in the school community. Parents and carers have played a significant role in the continued development of anti-bullying and belonging by contributing views and ideas in the their regular Anti-Bullying Forum meetings; staff members have also played a significant role through their support for the pupils and families in the academy’s community.
We would like to congratulate Sarah Hugill for her commitment to embedding anti-bullying within the school’s inclusive and empathetic ethos, as well as her colleagues, governors, pupils and parents/carers for their hard work towards achieving the Silver Award. We hope that it recognises their efforts and inspires them to secure the award for a second year.
